Gaming Analytics Inc.
May '24 - Present
Software Engineer Intern (Data Science)
I'm currently a Data Scientist Intern at Gaming Analytics, where I specialize in enhancing the natural language processing capabilities within the company's internal systems. My work primarily involves training Named Entity Recognition (NER) models using HuggingFace to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our text-to-database-query pipeline. This enables casino managers with no technical background to effortlessly query data by asking questions like, "Show me the number of jackpots this month vs last month", and receive instant, precise insights. I'm also contributing to the deployment of this system into production, leveraging AWS services like SageMaker, Lambda, and S3 to ensure scalability and reliability.
William Ryan Group
Jun '23 - Aug '23
Software Engineer Intern
At William Ryan Group, I created a realtime data visualization interface using Python, VBA, and excel spreadsheets. This dashboard provided casino managers with instant data insights which they could filter by parameters such as customer tier levels and employee response times, allowing for data-driven decision making.
Artificial Intelligence Scholars Program

Undergraduate Researcher
I am a two-time recipient of this award, working under the mentorship of Professor Amelia Winger-Bearskin. With my $3,500 in grant funding, I am focusing on deep learning research utilizing the University's HiPerGator AI supercomputer. In the Spring of 2024, I presented my research into diffusion models for audio synthesis at the University's 2024 Undergraduate Research Symposium
